Hi,

I have 2 identicals servers configure as "Ubuntu+Iptable+Squid" firewall.

I have a "production server" and a "backup server".

I do all my webmin configuration on my "produvtion server".

I want to "rsync" all my "production server" webmin configurations files from my
"production server" to my "backup server"

What files and directory should I transfert so that after the "rsync" I end up
with 2 identicals Webmin configurations.

I did transfet /etc/webmin/* but my 2 webmin are not identical

Thanks for your fine work

Sart

That depends ... The /etc/webmin directory is for settings related to webmin itself. To copy settings related to apache for example, you would need to copy /etc/apache2 .

Hi Jamie,

Sorry for my lack of information but what I do is clone 10 times "custom
command"

And give them specific names.

After my "rsync" I have /etc/webmin/custom and /etc/webmin/custom1 to 10 on both
server.

But they are not showing in "Others" on my backup server.

I think I nead to copy some "webmin" config file that keeps track of the
cloning.

Thanks

Sart

Ok, if you want to create a clone like that, you also need to
create module directory symlinks under the webmin root, typically
either /usr/share/webmin or /usr/libexec/webmin . The commands for this are :

ln -s clone clone1
ln -s clone clone2
etc..

Then delete the cache file /etc/webmin/module.infos.cache
